- Quizzes :
Students are required to write all quizzes. The only acceptable
grounds for missing a quiz are documented medical or compassionate
situations. A missed quiz or midterm with acceptable
documentation will result in the weight for that quiz being
re-allocated to the final exam.
Quizzes missed without satisfactory consideration
are assigned a grade of 0.
- Requests for re-grade:
If you wish to have a quiz re-graded, you have seven (7) calendar
days from the day results are made available to the class to
request one. Regrade requests are made in-person, during
scheduled TA office hours, or during an appointment you have made
with the TA or instructor for this purpose. No requests for
regrade will be handled by e-mail. You must make any
materials relevant to your request available to the TA at the
time of the request. If the TA is unable to resolve your problem
to your satisfaction, you may then appeal to your instructor
during office hours within seven (7) days of your initial regrade
request.
Absolutely no regrades will be considered for any
reason after the initial seven day period.
- Final Exam:
The final exam is scheduled (date and location) by the Registrar.
The final exam can not, and will not, be rescheduled for anyone,
for any reason. If you are unable to write the final exam you
will follow univeristy policy regarding deferral of your final
exam and it will be rescheduled by the registrar early in the
following term. Please consult the undergraduate calendar for
additional information.
Grading policies for the final exam, including regrade requests,
are covered by university policies. Please refer to the
undergraduate calendar for details.
