There will be 5 programming assignments in this course, each is worth 4% for a total of 20%.

Late Assignments: my policy on late assignments is very simple: NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED NO MATTER WHAT IS THE REASON. Start working on the assignments early.

The assignments are:

Assignment 1. Due date: Tue, Feb 4 (at start of class)

Assignment 2. Due date: Tue, Feb 18 (at start of class)

Assignment 3. Data files: hello.txt, bonk.txt, dictionary.txt. Due date: Tue, March 11 (at start of class)

Assignment 4. Due date: Tue, March 25 (at start of class)

Assignment 5. Due date: Tue, April 1 (at start of class)

Midterm

For both, the midterm and the final exam you are responsible for everything covered in class, labs, and assignments. While the notes are extensive, they may not contain everything that is covered in class.
