There will be 5 programming assignments in this course, each is worth 4% for a total of 20%.

Late Assignments: my policy on late assignments is very simple: NO LATE ASSIGNMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED NO MATTER WHAT IS THE REASON. Start working on the assignments early.

The assignments are:

Assignment 1. Due date: Mon, Feb 2 (at start of class)

Assignment 2. Due date: Mon, Feb 16 (at start of class)

Assignment 3. Data files: hello.txt, bonk.txt, dictionary.txt. Due date: Tue, March 9 (at start of Lab)

Assignment 4. Class file: StockReader.class. Due date: Friday, March 19 (my office)

Assignment 5. Due date: Tuesday, April 6 at start of lab)

Midterm

For both, the midterm and the final exam you are responsible for everything covered in class, labs, quizzes, and assignments.

The midterm will be on Monday, Feb 16. It will be for 50 minutes.
